Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Full-stack Developer to build CURA v0 : a mobile-first, AI-enabled caregiving companion that helps family caregivers track wellbeing, reflect, and feel supported.
Your objective is to deliver a clean, reliable Minimum Viable Product (MVP) featuring onboarding, daily check-ins, an insights dashboard, and an AI chat assistant - all optimized for mobile and deployed on Vercel.
This is a 4–6-week, 20-hours-per-week engagement focused on quality execution and fast iteration. You’ll work from finalized Figma designs and translate them into a responsive, production-ready build.
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship the MVP using Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript, optimized for mobile responsiveness.
- Integrate Supabase for authentication, database management, and backend logic.
- Implement OpenAI API endpoints securely for chat- and insights-driven features.
- Deploy to Vercel, managing environment variables and preview builds.
- Translate finalized Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible UI with smooth user interactions.
- Build and refine key user flows - onboarding, daily check-in, and insights visualization.
- Ensure strong data validation, form handling, and error states for reliable UX.
- Deliver a well-documented GitHub repo with clear setup instructions and a short handoff session.
Required Skills
- Proven experience building production-ready MVPs or mobile-first web apps with Next.js + React + TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of Supabase or equivalent Postgres-based backends.
- Proficiency in Vercel deployments and environment variable management.
- Experience integrating OpenAI API or similar LLM endpoints.
- Skilled in responsive UI implementation using Tailwind CSS and component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui or Material UI).
- UI/UX-minded developer - you can translate Figma designs into fluid, user-friendly interactions and maintain design fidelity.
- Comfortable working asynchronously with strong written communication and milestone accountability.
- Approach building products from a user experience lens above everything else.
Nice to Have
- Experience with healthcare, mental-health, or wellness apps.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (PostHog, Vercel Analytics) for tracking engagement.
- Knowledge of form validation libraries (React Hook Form + Zod) and data visualization (Recharts or Chart.js).
