CTO, Senior Blockchain Developer

Job Title: Blockchain Developer (eCommerce Integration)

Location: Remote/Flexible

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Contract

Hourly Rate: $60 to $120/hr (negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer to join our team and help integrate blockchain technology into our existing eCommerce platform. You will work closely with our development team to create a seamless, decentralized solution for secure transactions, transparent supply chain management, and potentially tokenize assets within the ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Blockchain Integration: Design and implement blockchain architecture within the existing eCommerce platform.
• Smart Contracts: Develop and deploy smart contracts for various eCommerce functions like payments, loyalty programs, or supply chain tracking.
• Tokenization: Create token-based assets or loyalty points for incentivizing customers and streamlining transactions.
• Secure Transactions: Implement blockchain-based payment systems that ensure transparency, fraud prevention, and security.
• Collaboration: Work with frontend/backend teams to integrate blockchain seamlessly without disrupting user experience.
• Scalability: Ensure that blockchain solutions are scalable, efficient, and optimized for large-scale eCommerce transactions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, data security standards, and crypto laws.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with knowledge of multiple blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, etc.).
• Strong experience with smart contract development, ideally in Solidity or other blockchain programming languages.
• Solid understanding of cryptographic protocols and secure key management.
• Experience integrating blockchain with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.
• Knowledge of blockchain frameworks and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) concepts.
• Experience with React, Node.js, Python, or other modern web development frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize performance.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with decentralized identity solutions and integrating NFTs into eCommerce.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, crypto wallets, and tokenomics.
• Understanding of various consensus algorithms (e.g.PoW, PoS, DPoS).
