Who You’ll Work With
In this role as a Network Engineer – Wireless and WiFi Domain, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including network architects, IT infrastructure teams, security teams, Arista TAC (Technical Assistance Center), Help Desk personnel, and customer support teams. You will also coordinate directly with the Arista team for product lifecycle management, upgrades, and technical escalations, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable and optimized wireless network solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks
- Perform wireless site surveys and signal analysis
- Conduct packet-level troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Implement and support wireless security standards (WPA2/WPA3, EAP, RADIUS)
- Troubleshoot WiFi authentication and connectivity issues
- Support indoor and outdoor wireless solutions, including mesh networking
- Manage upgrades, OS patching, and vulnerability fixes for Arista devices
- Conduct network audits, compliance checks, and configuration reviews
- Monitor performance and optimize wireless networks
- Coordinate technical troubleshooting and escalations with Arista TAC
- Maintain documentation and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Provide input on best practices and assist in network design reviews
- Use tools for wired and wireless packet capture and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelors in CS/IT/EC/EE or similar
- Industry Recognized Wireless Certifications like CWNA, CWAP, CWSP are considered as an added advantage
- Minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience on wireless networking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, for effective communication with business and technical teams. • Strong exposure to packet capture level troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of successful and timely delivery of assigned tasks.

- Working knowledge of networking industry, products, and protocols.
- Designing, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting the following wireless and network protocols/technologies for wide-scale enterprise clients.
- Wireless mesh networking
- 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
- RF fundamentals / MIMO
- Wireless clients and drivers
- Wireless security (WPA2, WPA3)
- Authentication frameworks - EAP, PEAP, EAP-TLS
- POE/POE+, AAA/RADIUS
- DHCP, DNS, ACL, ARP, DHCP, 1G/10G Ethernet (IEEE 802.3ab & IEEE 802.3ae), ICMP, IPv4 & IPv6, LACP, STP/RSTP/MST (IEEE 802.1D), VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q), MAC Learning, VXLAN, EoGRE
- Experienced in implementation and troubleshooting of Campus and Enterprise wireless deployments including guest access.
- Experienced in troubleshooting indoor and outdoor wireless solutions.
- Experience with wired and wireless packet capture/analysis tools is highly desired. • Knowledge on Arista CV-CUE and Campus Product will have added advantage • Experience in Troubleshooting of WIFI networks
- Performance monitoring & Network Optimization
- Knowledge on WIFI technology and standard
- Troubleshooting experience on Authentication Coordination with various cross functional teams for troubleshooting.
- All kind of upgrade e.g. OS patch, vulnerability for Arista Devices
- Reporting – mutually agreed on report sharing – Daily/Weekly/Monthly • Co-ordinating with the Arista team for Product Lifecycle management for installed products. • Network audit: Configuration review and compliance, Configuration assistance and best practices, Design review assistance and best practices
- Network Operations: Technical troubleshooting support on Arista equipment; Customer escalation liaison with Arista TAC; Help Desk support; Managing trouble tickets and gathering input for analysis; Generate monthly high-level reports on trouble Tickets.
- Industry Recognized Wireless Certifications like CWNA, CWAP, CWSP are considered as an added advantage.
