Wolfgang Schreurs is a freelance software developer that grew up in The Netherlands but nowadays is located in Thailand with his girlfriend and daughter.
His focus is on writing mobile apps using Swift, Objective-C or C# (Xamarin). In the past he also dabbled a bit with Java. In the past he worked with a variety of other languages and environments like Visual Basic, LotusScript, etc...
In his free time he likes to dabble with game development and do some swimming.
At Backbase I worked on a white label app for banks. The white label app would contain several components, for example a portfolio component, a payment component, a contacts component, etc... Banks could mix-and-match these components to create an app.
The core of the components was written in Objective-C and the demo apps were written in Swift. Each component was distributed as a Cocoapod. I worked on most of the components and an older version of the white label app.
At Backbase we worked in a multidisciplinary agile team having iOS & Android developers, testers, designers, a Scrum Master & Product Owner.
I am the owner of Wolftrail. Within the context of Wolftrail I do both freelance work as well as work on my own apps. During 2016 I had a sabbatical and in this time I've worked mainly on a Bomberman game using SpriteKit, but as of yet this game is not yet released.
My goal is still to, somewhere in the future, release this game for the AppleTV.
