I picked up Swift development when version 2 came around and the language became a bit more stable. I worked as the sole developer on a couple of apps since then from my home office for clients based in the UK or US.  In 2016/17 I managed a team of developers in a local ( mobile app ) startup in Antwerp, Belgium.  I don't consider myself the best hardcore programmer in the field.  I do consider myself a well rounded developer with insights in design and user experience to add value to a given team.

I love the fact that Swift makes me a better programmer by introducing new techniques into the language with every release.  To me that's the real incentive.  Swift will continue to evolve and push me to explore new fronteers.

Music has been an integral part of my life from the get go.  So I had to invest in my personal, electronic music studio.  Today, after 10+ years, I have a well balanced setup of software plugins and hardware.  I would love to turn this pretty serious hobby into a new way to express interaction in software projects or to set the stage for your next soundtrack.

Whenever I can I will dockerize the environment I'm targeting.  I learned a ton about Docker and writing custom images in recent years.  I'm genuinely intrigued by the ecosystem and the technique of containers.  I have more to learn about Swarm, Amazon ECS and Kubernetes, to name a few, but today it's a great asset to my personal workflow.
