I've been creating iOS applications since 2014, and built products and features using maps and location, image/audio/video processing, speech and face recognition, cloud data synchronization, calls and messages, drawing mechanics, complex GUI animations, Apple Watch companions, and other hot (at the time) technologies. This list continues growing today, as I'm working hard on making my clients' products better by incorporating machine learning, augmented reality, intelligent assistance (Siri) and blockchains into mobile environment.

Although switched from Objective-C in 2016 only, I quickly fell in love with this elegant, light yet powerful, minimal but expressive language. Some of my clients' apps already benefit from its stability and performance. I also play a lot with it in my spare time, and contributed some of the results to the Open-source community.

I blow the dust off my Objective-C knowledges whenever it comes to support or rewrite old iOS apps, review someone's code from nostalgic times or research/troubleshoot underlying technologies that modern Swift services are often using internally. It also helps me understand a lot of fundamental programming concepts that were managed manually a long time before it all became stashed behind today's easy one-line hipster code constructions. I mean, Swift is one of the best thing happened to me, but this geeky old-school language taught me so much..

Experienced with both building and consuming APIs, and consider myself aware of the core principles and approaches that make interaction between provider and client fast and resource-efficient yet well-encapsulated and secure.

Spent a lot of time learning fundamentals and best practices of the relational schemes and RDBMS's, practicing Oracle v11/12 and Microsoft SQLServer databases management, designing and integrating MySQL databases into my early projects and using SQLite DB managed by CoreData framework in iOS applications.

These days it helps me understand architecture of full-stack services and participate in designing and troubleshooting it. I also heavily rely on my experience when writing data models in code that's supposed to deliver information from databases to the applications I build.

Finally, the most recent kind of databases I keep researching today are distributed databases, such as those powered by Blockchain technology that I believe has enormous potential, especially on mobile devices.
