I analysed and reprocessed about 20 GB of flight data from 42 flights in the years 2011 to
2015. The data will be published as open data and the results presented on the airborne wind energy conference in Glasgow in autumn 2019.

Consultant flight data analysis

I am using Python for visualization of data, but in the past also for dynamic system simulation and optimization tasks. I am not a web-developer, though. If you want to do data analysis with Pandas and Python I can help you quickly.

I created more than one GUI and also a large, distributed flight control system using C++ and the QT libraries. Can implement in particular technical applications fast. I am documenting my code very well, I am used to work with requirement specifications, UML diagrams and unit tests.

I am doing data analysis since many years in different contexts. 20 years ago I used FoxPro, later Postgresql, then Pandas (Python) and now Julia (DataFrames and Query.jl). I can analyse data using scientific quality standards due to my PhD education, and can also visualize data in many forms. Small data sets are fine, large data sets on super computers also possible.
