Versapay is focused on transforming accounts receivable efficiencies and accelerating companies’ cash flow by connecting AR teams with their customers over the cloud. Through the Versapay Network, we make billing and payments easy for buyers and sellers, reducing costs and eliminating paper, checks, and manual business processes. I design, develop, and test product features that meet our business and technical requirements on time and on budget. I support planning, scoping, design and implementation of new features. Triage and correct performance and/or data integrity concerns by reviewing and evaluating code and CI.

BitPesa is a digital foreign exchange and payment platform that leverages blockchain settlement to significantly lower the cost and increase the speed of business. During my period here I did the following: Design and code application in an agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach. Investigates bugs and new functionalities introduced to the system with a well-written report and presentation. Actively maintaining and working on a large codebase of internal, public projects and private gems combined Work on the main backend product TransferZero which processes large amounts of transactions every day. Lead the integration for Nigeria (NGN Bank) Payout system with NIBSS. Created the prototype integration and defined the payment process for South Africa (ZAR Bank) payout. Rotation as on-call/support engineer for our partners who integrate with our system. I was awarded the best collaborator in engineering.
