I am a serious Haskell developer with a strong grasp of much of even the most exotic use of the language. I have used Haskell in production at my company and contributed to open source. I have given multiple talks at conferences concerning Haskell techniques and related type theory.

I am a self-taught and formally trained statistician with experience in machine learning and biomedical engineering. I happily use this skill alongside significant programming expertise and database engineering to get hard statistical problems done.

I used Clojure extensively in grad school (where I begat the Clatrix library) and in the early days of my company. I use Clojure again at my company significantly in a backend/frontend Clojure/ClojureScript application.

I have a master's equivalency in mathematical statistics achieved during my incomplete PhD years at John's Hopkins University. I use statistics regularly, design my own experiments, algorithms, programs, and tests. I can also teach about basic and advanced topics in statistics.

I spent 3 years in grad school studying ML in application toward speech processing. I am formally trained and very competent mathematically and have built processing pipelines for large scale machine learning (jobs taking hundreds of computer-months).

I use React in a ClojureScript production application regularly. I am a strong believer in the functional design of the library, understand its internal mechanisms well, and can talk about architecture surrounding it.

I'm a reasonable database designer able to describe and communicate designs in various normal forms using standard ERD/IDEF1x tools or non-standard category theoretic tools.

I am an amateur mathematician skilled in engineering mathematics (calculus, diffeq, modeling, statistics, dynamical systems) as well as a few areas of pure mathematics (algebra, category theory, logic).

My exposure to Javascript is from a web development perspective. I can apply functional programming techniques to make complex JS code easier to digest.

I write a lot of SQL in a web development (backend) capacity. I dislike ORMs so I'm often writing SQL by hand. I am not great at optimizing queries, but I know the basics well.

I used Python for many years as my go-to data science language in grad school.

I've used Node.js for web development and various tools. I understand the basics, but am not a serious user.

I use git every day. I am familiar with a few standard workflows and how to get in and out of trouble. I'm not a guru though.
