Initial scope involved a complete rewrite of a PHP photography & eCommerce platform in Ruby on Rails. Delivered the project in under three months and deployed it on AWS in a highly available cluster. Designed and developed the core business logic of the application, hooking up with image processing APIs and payment gateway (Braintree). Also performed monitoring and performance upgrades on the application as the service scaled from hundreds of users to tens of thousands.
