I dream in PHP. I focus on programming PHP the correct way with lot of emphasis on security and fast (efficient) code.

I've written a complete A/B testing engine of which most of the core is JS and re-purposed the functionality to several of our products.

The core of this engine is on par with products like VWO and from reverse-engineering theirs it is actually faster in loading the changes as well.

Been doing front-end development since I was 14. I mostly work with Bootstrap. Must admit I should look into SASS more but when required I'd be able to pick it up within a few days.

I try to avoid using JS frameworks as much as possible. People tend to forget that native JS is always faster. If you can do something in 5 lines of native JS compared to 1 line in Jquery (or other framework) in many situations I'd choose for the native implementation.

Though frameworks like jQuery obviously do have their uses and if it must be included you might as well use it with all its potential.

The data model of any (SaaS) application stands or crumbles the end results. It doesn't matter how good of a programmer you are if the data model is bad your application will always be crippled.

I've learned all the normalization levels (up to BCNF) although most of the time the 3rd level is enough. Mysql is more powerful then most people know and relations are often under-utilized (especially the Cascade options).

The 'EXPLAIN' feature is also very much underused.

I run various SEO services to (private) clients and my company is about to launch a platform for SEO experts called 'SERPLease.com' which is a platform for leadgen with SEO in the local niche markets.

I've worked with and created many API's. I strongly prefer JSON over XML. API's need to be a lightweight as possible.

Sales funnels are any web product's most important asset. Just having a pricing page isn't enough to get your web app selling. Designing a sales funnel and split testing the options, doing upsells, downsells and cross-selling can easily double your revenue if not more.

An important marketing lesson I've learned over the last 3 years.

Ok let me be honest here, as a programmer I hate Wordpress. The system is just very poorly designed from the core. I do however understand the value to the end users and the sheer usage power it has.

I was recently introduced to the X theme which actually made me like Wordpress better again. 

In fact in my own company we use Wordpress for our intranet.
