I have been using Ruby and Rails since 2007 in small apps with a few dozen models to 1,000,000 line monoliths deployed across multiple servers.

I've been doing Javascript as long as javascript has existed.  It has come a long way in the past 20 years, from a "toy" language used for minor effects to a full-fledged development environment with unique and interesting challenges.

I've been developing software in one way or another for over 20 years, from writing driver-software in C to working on experimental database design in Erlang, and writing workflow automation software in Applescript.  I've learned so many things for a quick project or to solve a problem that I was having in the moment, that I literally can't list them all.  Debugging things I don't understand is really one of my main skills.

I have been using SQL databases extensively for many years - from MySQL to Oracle.  Mostly I use Postgres, and I'm pretty familiar with it.  I have written multiple applications which leverage advanced Postgres features to deliver performance and value when "standard" approaches fail.
