Summary

I'm a Tech Lead at Udhaar, a FinTech startup in India. I have got nearly a decade of experience in mobile and web app development. Before this, I was a Lead Android Engineer at Apna.

I have worked with tech stacks like Android, Django, Python, SQL, React, AWS, and GCP. Currently, I'm a tech cofounder in my own startup and leading the tech stack of the company. I have experience working with clients in the US, e.g. Epson, Sequoia, DJI, etc.

Being a team leader I know the importance of communication and empathy. I usually do hands-on coding, managing the team tasks, sprint planning, system design, and ensuring the timelines for feature deliverables are met.

When I'm not working, I'm reading and learning about the various technologies, as a Technical Lead.

When I'm actually not working, I like to travel and drive.

Udhaar is a Fintech micro-lending app for the blue and gray-collar segments of the Indian economy. After analyzing the data on the user's device, they are assigned a monthly credit line. Users can withdraw the money and can make a repayment in the upcoming month. App also has a learn section to educate users on the financial front. We also show some finance deals on the app, if users want to get a bigger car or 2-wheeler loan, they can click on affiliate links and move forward. The mobile data analyzer was a Python project created using NumPy and Pandas in Python. I focused on the parallel execution part of the project.

Apna is a professional networking and jobs platform that helps blue and gray-collar workers find communities and land jobs. We built an Android app for candidates to view and apply for nearby jobs and to remain connected with the community of people with similar professions. During the covid period, Apna was providing jobs and the candidates were able to connect with employers using the Apna Android app. The startup company turned Unicorn in 2021, the fastest company to do so at the time. We helped hundreds of thousands of people get employed and earn bread and butter at tough times.
