Since 2010, I worked on several javascript based apps, and have experience developing both frontend, and backend. I worked with several frameworks and libraries, eg. Backbone, Marionette, React, Redux, Immutable.js, jQuery, express.js and a couple of in-house developed frameworks (on MVC basis). I like to write tests, from unit tests to automated end to end testing in browser (using mocha, chai, cypress).

Along with development itself, I can handle build process and dev->prod delivery.

I use React since 2014, started with React Native in 2017. During this time, I worked on several apps and features, where React was my daily bread. As the libraries evolved, so did my way of using it, and lately, I got into mobile apps development with React Native (no app released yet). My stack of libraries and tools varied as well, and settled down to a de facto community standard.

I use TDD, have my builds automated, and can get working prototypes up and running quickly.

I've been using PHP on websites and apps for years. Including building custom CMS, admin interfaces, discussion forums, photo galleries etc. I've worked with different frameworks over the time. Currently I use Laravel 6

I've always preferred to go full stack, and be able to understand the feature or an issue on all levels. Started with PHP, I moved to Ruby on Rails and later to Node.js. In all three environments, I deployed apps to different environments.

I can still use Ruby on Rails good enough to design RESTful APIs, provide administration interfaces and build complex websites or web apps.

TDD helps me to break down complex problems and domain business logic. Be it on frontend or backend. I write unit tests when working on low level details, and I used a couple of tools for end to end testing in browser, or with in-memory rendering.

I prefer to have tests in place, before I start refactoring, even on an unknown codebase. However, I don't go crazy with everything covered by tests - there has to be a line between maintainability and helpfulness of tests.
