I have deep knowledge of javascript, having worked as a front end engineer for big companies like Petrobras, IBM Research, Gapminder, FGV, MPRJ (State public prosecutor of Rio de Janeiro), using all kinds of libraries like React, Redux, Dojo, JQuery.

I have worked with React JS for two years at IPEA (Institute of Applied Economic Research) and at MPRJ (State public prosecutor of Rio de Janeiro), integrating with visualizations, maps, forms and using redux.

I have used redux for almost a year now, and I feel very comfortable with the way we code with it. I am one of the lead developers of a small team in a mission to rewrite this platform: http://apps.mprj.mp.br/sistema/mpmapas/inloco.html#/plataforma using react and redux. It is being a blast so far.

I worked at Petrobras developing the front-end of a web application for oil exploration and production. Now I work mostly without JQuery, but eventually I find myself maintaining legacy code or older systems that are written with JQuery.

I've worked with d3.js on IBM Research, Gapminder (Vizabi product). I also developed a personal project for my master's degree, that can be viewed in this link: https://rlage.github.io/visu/.
I've also did lectures and short courses on data visualization and d3.js in Brazil.

I've lectured for one year and a half at UFRJ a class called Programming with Python. Besides, I have developed crawlers for twitter, facebook and a couple of websites.
