I lead a team of 4 people and I am also responsible for managing the company&#x27;s infrastructure. My routine goes between business meetings, requirements analysis and development of new solutions for our customers. My team current challenge is to migrate a legacy system to cutting edge technologies that provide scalability.

Lead Software Engineer

Leading a team of 4 developers and 3 designers on a travel market project integrated with a blockchain platform. My routine goes between schedule meetings, business and architecture discussions and creating roadmaps for future sprints. The main technologies we are using are React, React Native and Node. The architecture was designed with the concept of DDD (Domain Drive Design), using container orchestration with Kubernetes among other technologies. The biggest challenge I&#x27;m having is understanding the web3 world in depth: participating in training on integrations with blockchain platforms and APIs from different Saas (Software as a Service), new concepts and architectural approaches, among other challenges. I&#x27;m also having to get a deeper understanding of Kubernetes and its entire ecosystem.

I led a team of 3 people and we were responsible for 2 projects within the company. I was the only developer on the team and in one of the projects I was constantly creating landing pages for clients to use our services. In the other project, I was responsible for creating algorithms that deal with the financial market and maintaining the application. The technologies of the projects are Node and React. The Frameworks used are Nest/Sails and Next.

One of the big challenges I had was having to create an api to return data from a mongo-db collection with more than 14 million documents. The collection grew exponentially every 15 days and the data would be used by the analytics team. I had to learn about indexes, composite indexes, aggregation, collation and several other techniques to be able to deliver the API ready. With authentication and performing queries, today the solution is stable.

My routine ranged from creating pages, optimizing query's, configuring domains/ssl, integrating with other systems, migrating applications and business meetings.

Team Lead

Member of a team of 8 people responsible for one of the most important applications for the client we were allocated. The team developers routine was divided into providing maintenance for the system, creating algorithms and new features. From creating performance queries in sql, dealing with queues and asynchronous communication, creating unit and behavior tests, creating micro-services and lots of customer meetings to understand if we were on the right path. The project technologies were Node and React.

One of the great challenges that were solved was to create a micro-service that could transform an application to white label format. With this micro-service in operation, the application had a 60% increase in user flow and the entire architecture had to be readjusted for scalability.

Analyst

I was part of a team of 4 people who were responsible for one of the company's various projects. Daily tasks ranged from creating new features, maintaining micro-services to uploading apps to Apple and Android stores. The project was divided into 3 distinct parts: backend, frontend and mobile. The technologies used were Node, React and React native. 

One of the biggest challenges I had was learning mobile development and being able to follow all the guidelines of the app stores to upload the project. Over time, I was in charge of uploading all the apps the company had and creating pipelines for continuous deployment.
