I have 4 years of Ruby experience! It's an excellent, developer-friendly language. I have contributed to open source gem projects on GitHub (such as simplecov). I have also contributed to a Ruby ORM project similar to ActiveRecord.

I have 4 years of Ruby on Rails / full stack development and tutoring experience. I have coded in more than 10 languages, but Ruby on Rails has always been my forte! During these 4 years I have have worked with many areas of Ruby on Rails, including routing, migrations, ActiveRecord, the consuming and creation of APIs, AJAX handling, RSpec testing, Capybara, all the MVC features, and lots of different gems.

I have over 4 years of experience using Git and Github. I've used it in several development jobs, in open source projects, and in my own projects.
