Designed & developed lots of Python backend code for both monolithic and microservice-based apps. Worked in Django since the beginning, sometimes throwing in SqlAlchemy at a basic level.

Implemented numerous frontends, 8 years later jQuery was basically the only option. Then used Backbone.js, AngularJS, now switched to Vue since Angular is making too many backwards-incompatible changes.

Been using PostgreSQL for my whole programming career. Love its stability and great design. I implemented lots of database functionality in pure SQL and PL/pgSQL, including triggers in pure C. Of course things like query optimization were also in my task lists.

I have been profesionally deploying, configuring and customizing Odoo via custom modules for around 3 years now. Proven track of satisfied customers and in-depth knowledge of the system versions 7 to 11.

Reimplemented our big monolithic app on top of Docker. Together with Rancher this allowed us to scale it to multiple machines with the click of a button. All of my current team's services are dockerized and it's mostly because I wrote the Docker definitions and set things up.

Over time I became the coordinator of all our machines. I know SaltStack pretty well and know how to write custom states to implement complex functionality. I also created a custom solution to handle: backups, monitoring (using Prometheus and Grafana), all integrated with our internal Mattermost chat, providing some custom commands via Hubot to perform common server tasks.
