I've used JavaScript on the frontend and backend for the past 4 years working on projects such as social media startups, enterprise software, and e-commerce storefronts.  I love being at the cutting edge and make judicious use of new language features to improve code quality and clarity.  I also use JS for nearly all of my personal projects including gamejams and having fun with machine learning.

I've worked with the latest HTML5 features daily for the past several years in both a professional and private context.  I've used a variety of templating engines as well and have worked side by side with front end devs where I've picked up my knowledge of CSS and an eye for design.

I've developed some prototypes as part of paid contracts using PHP and Laravel.  I've also used it for personal sites and projects.  I'm comfortable with the language and its features but it's not my go to tool.

I haven't used C# professionally and most of my experience outside of the courses that used it in school has been in using it for game development with Unity3D.  I'd say I'm competent but not an expert when it comes to this language.
