I believe in a better Internet for all people, not just programmers. This is why I make it my personal mission to work as a front-end developer and designer on projects that make a difference in the world and by contributing to the open-source movement where I can.
What I love most about the work that I do is the problems I get to solve in the display of information. The solution to these problems is a process that often includes a plethora of skills which I incorporate into my workflow and designs:
I'm very involved in the technology and entrepreneurship community in Nashville. It's very important to me that I show up to local events and hackathons when I can. Through my work at the Jumpstart Foundry I've been given the opportunity to work with so many other fantastic entrepreneurs and developers by mentoring them on their businesses, technology stacks, and design guidelines.
