I am a Software Engineer that has spent the last 5 years helping to build Apache Beam, an open source library to write big data applications for batch and real-time streaming use cases.

I am proficient in Python and Java, as well as various tools for CI/CD, big data analytics, cloud databases, etc.

I enjoy teaching, and I believe that when it comes to designing data pipelines, it's important to familiarize oneself with the details of big data systems.
