I am Olaide Agboola and I have over 6 years of experience working with Javascript; using NodeJS and ExpressJs framework for server side development with React and AngularJS on the client side with both SQL and NoSQL Databases. I have also worked with technologies including but not limited to TypeScript, GraphQl, Docker, etc
I have worked successfully with different global teams remotely using the agile software methodology leveraging tools for collaboration such as Github, Slack, Jira, etc.

Homebound is a tech-powered homebuilding company that works with clients to create plans and then build customized new homes.
At Homebound, I worked alongside other engineers in building out the web applications that empowered Homebound employees and clients to effectively manage all aspects of homebuilding including managing legal documents, procurements, process scheduling, and furnishing
- Built out GraphQL APIs for that served two different web applications: The homeowner app and the Homebound app
- Worked on the homeowner facing app: extending, painting and building out new features
- Worked on the in-house app that helped homebound employees properly manage the homebuilding process
ShipStation is a web-based shipping solution that streamlines the order fulfillment process for online business. ShipStation consolidates orders from several ecommerce channels, and automates process from creating shipping labels to tracking orders and allows you automate your business and eliminate manual data entry.
At Shipstation, I worked as a team lead, in a team of 12 to build out integrations for Shipstation. We built integrations to connect Shipstation with different ecommerce channels. Some of the marketplace integrations we worked on are
- Overstock
- Prestashop
- Squarespace
- Miracle
- Wish
- Rakuten
- CDiscount
My role also included:
- Understanding the general overview of each ecommerce channel and creating a high level technical overview of the integration process for the team
- Mapping out specific tasks to be completed to achieve the overall goal and assigning tasks to team members
- Pair programming and code review sessions with team members. Proactively unblocking team members and helping them understand different aspects of each project
- Ensuring the integration works end to end; required data is passed smoothly from Shipstation to the ecommerce channel and vice versa
- Ensure that each integration is well tested using acceptance tests and unit tests
