I fell in love in Go for its simplicity and speed and use it to build robust microservices and APIs.

I'm no frontend developer but JS is ubiquitous.  Lately I did a couple projects with React/Redux and it felt like a breath of fresh air as opposed to the  JQuery spaghetty or Angular monoliths I was exposed to before.

I've been working with Apache Hadoop for a  couple of years and set up a ETL pipeline to make sense of terabytes of log data from an Ad Exchange.

Heroku is my go-to PAAS when I need to deliver an MVP in no time without devops burden. It alows to scale the service  in a couple clicks the only downside being the price tag.

I  used to write a lot of Perl back in the day and I think it is still a great tool when it comes to tinkering with text and regular expressions. Perl programs are as robust as their C equivalents in text processing. 

I generally use mongo when crafting quick prototypes and MVP's. Great tool!

I set up a CI/CD pipeline for any project that's not a one-off bash script and it usually pays off down the road. Jenkins and Docker are my tools of choice.

I'm generally excited about Blockchain/Bitcoin and worked on a couple infrastructure tools for blockchain startups.
