Focused on enhancing building performance using technology, I've worked on a number of projects marrying Building Information Modelling (BIM) with technology to ensure extremely high levels of energy performance, including designing and constructing the first Passivhaus compliant suspended timber floor system, creating a mobile astronomical research observatory and designing and constructing a satellite groundstation for a UK government body.

Full-stack developer leading team across three global locations (USA, UK, Bulgaria) to create IoT project for near-realtime remote operation of robotic systems. Built platform based on Python, Flask & Redis that achieved sub-4ms response times whilst ensuring fully auditable & repeatable commands received and actioned in strict order and with precise timing. Custom electronics designed and tested including serial command interface and motor control.
