I am highly experienced in writing versioned and contracted microservices with Node.js. I enjoy javascript development because of the low barrier to entry, and the high reward when you write some dynamic magic to get a complex task done.

I worked at Yahoo! on the largest (at the time) chef server infrastructure. I gained experience writing recipes to manage jenkins, securely share secrets, machine health, user access and control, trusted intermediaries, docker, fluentd, cronjobs, and much more. I love writing chef recipes because infrastructure automation is one of the most important practices for infrastructure at scale.
