Senior iOS Engineer

Developing and maintaining Nandbox messenger app for iOS and driving mobile appsarchitecture and technology choices. Nandbox is a real-time messaging app that is widely usedby thousands of users everyday.

- Leading the development efforts on Android and iOS platforms and supporting the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, develop, test, release and support). 
- Driving mobile apps architecture and technology choices to deliver apps meeting the latest standards and best practices, including TDD, MVVM, ReactiveX, Offline first and remote feature toggling.
- Led the team that successful released the first two versions of Instascaler API before handing it over to the backend team. Instascaler is the current main product for Cognitev, it is a platform that helps small business owners and startups to get targeted, and high quality visitors to their websites automatically.

Mobile Development Lead

Mobile App Launchpad is a program launched in a partnership between MCIT and Google, in a collaboration with Udacity to help Egypt’s talent pool excel in mobile app innovation and entrepreneurship. 
My role was to help 30 students to understand Developing Android Apps course offered by Udacity (www.udacity.com) and offer support on-the-ground to help getting them certified.

Developed two iOS apps from scratch, one was to manage the relationship between patients, doctors and administration in a hospital in USA and the other one was an interactive guide to assist pilgrims to do all the steps required to perform Hajj and Umrah.
