Ruby on Rails is the first web framework that I learnt.
I started developing small projects, and being only involved in development.
Later, as a more experienced rails developer I had the opportunity to develop and mantain an e-commerce, it was a web application.
Today I am responsible for the development, maintenance and scalability of an API of a social network. The API is consumed by iOS and android applications.

Since I started with the web development, I become a better front-end developer.

I had the opportunity to set elasticsearch in production, it was not an easy task, because of the learning curve, you have to read and understand the concepts around elasticsearch

It was difficult to achieved that, but thankfully I could do it. So I would be happy to share my experience and knowledge with you if you need any help with this.
