Aviation Experience

Since the beginning of March 2014, severe shortages of food and water have been reported in Tharparkar District in Pakistan's south-east Sindh province. A number of children have reportedly died of malnutrition. The area has not received any significant rainfall since the end of 2013. Tharparkar has been declared calamity-hit by the Government of Sindh and PKR, The Humanitarian Open Street Map Team (HOT) decided to undertake a Humanitarian Mapping Project (HMP) to provide maps for relief convoys showing population areas and access roads to assist with relief efforts. My role is as Project Lead and Coordinator. My responsibilities are to understand the nature of the crisis, ascertain the actual area affected, create documentation and reference material for use on the project by mappers, create the actual mapping tasks and monitor progress and validate the work done. Lead Activation Coordinator - Typhoon Ruby

This project was targeted at establishing a single pilot aerial survey system. Development and testing was done in the Philippines with the project requiring the design and development of in-flight camera systems, precision GPS Navigation Systems (Accurate to 0.5 meters), procedures and training. This project was a part time effort by a number of people. My role was to design and develop the In Flight Guidance Systems and interface those with the cameras, gyros and gimbals to provide imagery accurate to +/- .5 m

Systems Designer, Test Pilot and Aerial Photographer

Company building Aircraft from scratch, and rebuilding old and vintage aircraft. Role included all aspects of operations and management at General Manager Level including financial, importation, exports, HR, staffing, QA, training, systems design and development. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this job was the Research and Design opportunities. The business was in the business of customization. This required a huge amount of effort on designing systems that were safe and would physically fit into an actual aircraft. Attached to this is an image of an aircraft hat was seriously modified to fit a Turbine Engine. This required extending the fuselage, all new systems, design and manufacture of Carbon Fibre Cowl and establishing safe flight conditions with Center of Gravity calculations.

Logistics and Container Control Officer

Have been using PHP for many years in a large number of applications ... its my go to language for quick and easy solution, but I am now leaning towards Node.js as a preferred environment 

I have worked with a number of applications with Arduino's, Pi's etc, including an airborne Photogrammetry App, Beehive monitoring and farm management. I love this stuff .. .. it makes such a difference ..

I also love working with the hardware, sensors and putting it all together ... preferred API tool is Node.Js, have use NodeRed as well ..
