Led team of three engineers to support Augmented Reality (AR) application data needs and internal tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Azure resources and monitoring, C#/.NET ETL, and backend for React web application.

• Refactored .NET console application used to extract and transform Walmart data to use more accurate and faster data source, upgrading from Presto to REST API, achieving 12X improvement in processing time.
• Created C#/.NET multithreaded image validation tool to efficiently check image URLs for invalid and unexpected web responses to improve product image data quality.
• Resolved error in Terraform resource provisioning of Azure cloud resources due to Azure deprecation of resource type and collaborated with stakeholders to minimize impact. Used Postman monitors to automate daily team oncall tasks to test API endpoints across three environments.

Served as technical lead on the data team as the company transitioned to and launched its new cloud data platform, which utilized AWS and Snowflake.

• Used AWS Lambda functions and built Python data pipelines to integrate new data sources. Built custom pipeline using Azure Analysis Services’ (AAS) REST API, enabling 50% of the company to explore and analyze dimensionalized data in Excel.
• Created, documented, and implemented release process. Onboarded three team members as release captains and mentored four developers on Git best practices.
• Automated upload of production code to AWS using Bitbucket Pipelines, saving 30 minutes per release every two weeks, and removing possibility of manual error. Enabled customizable ETL alerting to Microsoft Teams from AWS Simple Notification Service (SNS).
