Some of the projects:

· Engage with a prominent marine research institution in Europe, I oversee diverse systems collecting data through water sensors. This information fuels data repositories, generates reports, and presents real-time insights on dedicated websites. The objective is to offer the industry up-to-the-minute understanding of water conditions for both research and commercial applications. (.Net, C#, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, Windows Services, Azure, WCF, Docker, Linux, NodeRed)

· Improve / Maintain software that monitors and control cutting-edge power generation solutions for government and industries as part of the software team for a large South Korean conglomerate based on the US (.Net C#, WPF, MVVM, LINQ)

· Fix and Implement improvements to a complete shipping solution for a well-known American company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of home comfort products (.Net, C#, Desktop Applications, Windows Services, ASP.NET, WebServices, SQL Server, Entity Framework)

· Actively contribute to a UK-based company's project, collaborating on the development of a Notepad++ plugin using .NET and C#. This experience allowed me to apply my technical skills to create a valuable software addition, enhancing the overall functionality for users

Development of a new intranet web application to manage Outages in the electric grid for Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The project involves the development from scratch of a system that can be used by Near Time and Control Centre users to create and manage Network Outages, planned or unplanned.

The system implements an approval workflow, export to PDF, export to Outlook Calendar, Search, audit trail of changes, versioning. Authentication is linked to companies Active Directory services.

The development involves creating a solution from scratch using .Net framework with Oracle databases.

The scope is defined in Technical specifications and Business Requirements.

The role involves liaising with business key user to work on requirements, DBAs, Infrastructure team, reporting to a Project Manager.

The system includes a background windows service that runs and interfaces with 2 external legacy system via Web Services.
