After graduating from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, I worked at Goldman Sachs for a year mainly focused on Risk Models and evaluating Financial Metric requirement for Risk management. I have a passion for creating systems that have a high standard of quality control and ensuring efficiency in my project workflow.

Having had the opportunity to be able to mentor people during my experience leading two research groups at my college, I have gained proficiency in breaking down problems into simple and easy to understand tidbits. As a member of the Market Risk Technology Team, was responsible for structuring and implementing Risk Models for the firm. I was responsible for working on elimination of the tree structure of the Risk Models and implementing a flat, attribute based design that was significantly faster. Also designed and implemented an automated alert system to identify system alerts raised by functions across the firm (Databases, Processes) and resolve them using Machine Learning data learnt from user experience. If resolution isn't possible the system releases to manual intervention with enhanced UI.

Worked on designing and testing the Terminal Descent (The final phase of descent before landing for a spacecraft) algorithm for a spacecraft being designed for a soft landing on the moon. Was responsible for testing the algorithm on a aerial drone platform and optimizing the descent algorithm for fuel consumption. Also responsible for integrating the entire sensor array to the FPGA based motherboard creating a BareMetal system to run directly on the chip.
