I founded the company Internetsko novinarstvo - Online Press in 2009 and have been working professionally in it since 2011. My primary job for 12 years has been PHP development.

I have created dozens of custom PHP applications, mostly in 'pure' PHP, without any help from ready-made solutions. A bit spartan, but in the later stages it gives a lot of freedom to adjust the application however the client wants, so it turns out the best in the end. I worked in Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter... React and Angular didn't bypass me also, not even Backbone. And that's not bad, certainly different.

However, I have always returned to 'pure' PHP/HTML/CSS/JS programming, because it is so similar to the Commodore BASIC language that I liked so much as a child.

PHP is also a good base for various content display systems (CMS), so I spent a large part of my time programming, maintaining and cleaning Drupal, Joomla and, of course, the hugely popular WordPress. I managed modules, components, themes, plugins... To end up creating several custom themes and plugins from scratch.

I'm also in search engine optimization (SEO) when needed, which I started as a journalist in 2007. And over time, as our clients asked for a hosting service, we are maintaining dedicated servers. So I'm familiar with Plesk and cPanel.

I fell in love with the world of technology because there are no lies. Something cannot be interpreted differently than it is. The application is working properly or not. Sometimes harsh, even frustrating, but actually - honest and fair. I like that.
