Working in an Agile team, focusing on the development of the InsightPartners investment portfolio platform. This platform is built using Next.js and Nest.js, showcasing the power of server-side rendering and a modular backend architecture. The project&#x27;s infrastructure is hosted on AWS and managed through Kubernetes, ensuring seamless scalability and efficient resource management. Working closely with my team, actively using GitLab for version control, enabling smooth collaboration and continuous integration and deployment through pipelines.

Software Engineer

Part of an Agile team working on new modules for a food delivery app in the United States (Waitr and Bitesquad) and working as a full-stack engineer using PHP, NodeJS, AngularJS, React, React Native, and AWS Serverless. MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Firebase are being used as databases, and using Docker as a local and production environment with CI/CD (Jenkins and CircleCI). PHPUnit and Mocha are being used for TDD. Everything is built under a microservice architecture.

I was in charge of the research and development of new technologies. Creating and maintaining a Livestream platform, mobile apps, microservices, and applications, producing viability studies for implementing the Scrum methodology, and acting as the lead developer of the browser-based streaming client. The browser-based streaming client project was created initially using NodeJS, Javascript, and WebRTC. MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL were used for databases and cache systems. It also has been integrated with a Laravel application. The WebRTC integration was part of the research that enabled the application to have more than one user on the same streaming connection. The SCRUM methodology was used to test project management methodologies candidates for use within the team. Git/Github/Bitbucket was used as a versioning system. Ionic Framework and Angular were used to build the new app, enabling Maxcast’s clients to listen to the radio streams on their phones. VueJS and Laravel were used to make the web application as a SPA, which Maxcast’s clients use to listen to the stream of their radios through the computer web browser. Everything was also built with HTML and CSS for the front end, using MySQL and MongoDB as databases and Redis as cache systems. Linux Server administration is a day-to-day task at Maxcast. Its services are spread across more than 50 bare metal servers running Linux, including APIs, micro-services, and streaming servers. Vagrant was used to replicating production servers in a local development environment.

Full stack developer

Responsible for the financial transactions area. Maintained the billets, transferences, and bill payment modules. Created new modules for web and mobile platforms. Maintained the microservice architecture. Produced API integrations. Provided support to the technical team members in the development of functional and visual user interfaces. Symfony was the main framework used to build the web-based application and its APIs using microservices and DDD patterns. MySQL was the main database. The mobile app was built using the Ionic Framework together with AngularJS. All services were built using AWS stack, such as EC2, Docker containers, Rancher, and Jenkins for CI/CD. Docker was also used as a local development environment. The entire team was managed through SCRUM methodology and followed TDD as a rule, mostly with PHPUnit and Selenium. Git/Github/Bitbucket was used as a versioning system.

Configured and deployed a public ERP utilized by several cities in the country. Created a new module for health care management. Maintained the education and financial modules. Contributed to the E-CIDADE open-source project initiated by the government. Managed Linux servers. The application was built using a custom PHP framework and deployed on a single Linux Server with a PostgreSQL database. Javascript, HTML, and CSS were used to develop interfaces and front-end functionalities. Git/Github/Bitbucket was used as a versioning system.

Managed all the technical aspects of projects, from proposals to the delivery of the product to the client. Developed CMS software. Designed and developed the frontend of several sites. Created and maintained two intranets for two large companies, Tracbel and SNC Lavallin Miner Consult. Developed and maintained two online subscription websites for two international events, ILLA Brazil and ICCA Rio. Produced two online education platforms. Developed WordPress plugins. Integrated payment and social network APIs. In charge of a social media project for Skank and Capital Inicial, two famous rock bands. Responsible for social media analysis and the development of statistics reports. Managed Linux servers. Most of the CMS(s) developed were built using PHP, Zend Framework, and Symfony within a MySQL database. Custom applications and Intranets were also built using PHP and the frameworks previously mentioned. Websites were designed using Photoshop, and their front-end built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Some websites were built using WordPress with custom plugins development. For those with online payments, several kinds of third party APIs were also integrated. Every new software project was designed using UML. Git/Github was used as a versioning system.

Managed BRFree and LIGBR, two dial-up connection provider portals. Part of the content management team. Designed and developed frontends. Maintained the company’s ERP. HTML, Javascript, and CSS were used daily for content updates and the development of new pages of the portals. Photoshop was used to design websites and client sites. PHP was used to develop the company’s ERP together with a MySQL database.
