I got started with Haxe to design and create video games.  I completed one major game (made of many mini-games), one Mini Ludum Dare game jam game, and I have one other project still in development.  I also made my own scrollbar library, since HaxeFlixel's ecosystem did not already have one, and used it in my games.

Wrote an advanced integrated CMS in PostgreSQL that interfaced with an undocumented third-party MSSQL database.

I used Perl for various dynamic web site features, then used it as my back-end language of choice during research and development of an integrated company intranet app and supporting tools (server monitoring, data extraction and B2B automation, etc.).

Got started with a corporate web site, and evolved my knowledge alongside the web's, going through 13 major rewrites throughout the years.  See JavaScript above, same context.  Also used HTML5 Canvas for a university project 8 years ago, and the code still works today even though I haven't touched it.

Shell scripts I've used for work, play, and personal productivity.  There's always something you can script!  I've done .bat/.cmd files and a bit of PowerShell, but mostly Bash.

Used Godot to make a small first-person game for a Ludum Dare game jam.  Required some custom scripting because I wanted to use a lot of dynamically generated objects.

Added features to and fixed bugs in the ancient home-grown accounting app of a non-profit organization, with no documentation.  For my own use, got an open-source crash report server working that didn't work out of the box when I first tried it.

I've worked with github for several years now, and have made pull requests for libraries I've used (e.g. HaxeFlixel, via my account IBwWG), particularly since 2016.
