I have a Master's degree in Computer Graphics, with an emphasis on material and surface rendering. I have worked extensively with the OpenGL API, including both the programmable pipeline and the older fixed pipeline. I am an expert in the OpenGL API using C/C++, but have also worked with Python and Rust bindings.

I've worked in computer graphics most of my career, including working for a company designing an application using WebGL within an electron environment.

I've worked with Javascript, and its multiple variants, throughout my career. Much of my full time work for the past 10 years has been within the JS realm, including both backend services and front-end web development. 

I have had experience working on existing React applications, as well as developing applications from scratch to use React as a frontend.

I worked on some of the specifications for HTML/CSS during my time at Mozilla.

I have experience with scripting in Python, as well as writing and configuring APIs with Django in Python. My most recent experience is adding some code to Taiga (an open source project management tool).

I was a UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator for 3 years in college and have run a Linux system on my laptop for the majority of my development career. I have experience with MacOS, as well, but not in the AppleScript automation areas.

I've been on four different teams that use the electron framework for platform-independent javascript desktop applications. I have worked in multi-layered applications, where the electron app was the frontend for a REST-based API, as well as applications where the entirety of the app was developed to run locally on a single machine.

I have experience dating back to 2006 with PHP, multiple versions and libraries associated with it. I have written numerous web applications and web APIs using PHP.
