Research Engineer

Designed, purchased parts, coordinated technicians, and supervised physical implementation of Automated Waste Acid Management System to neutralize acid and prevent acid overflow onto the floor or backflow into external stack. Proposed a process improvement and wrote associated software to streamline communication between floor operators and upper management in the plant in order to keep people accountable for their actions (or lack of). Designed and wrote software automating blade location calculation for slitting machine to reduce possible injuries. Created Process and Instrumentation Diagram for two pieces of machinery in plant to explain their functions. Suggested possibility of, purchased, and set-up software to automate monotonous data entry tasks to save time.

- Research Project: Effects of polymer molecular orientation and biodegradation on stem cell differentiation. - Conducted tests on effects of Vibration Assisted Injection Molding on polylactic acid life cycle for tailored life-time polymer implant applications. - Grew and fed human bone marrow stem cells in a laboratory for future testing purposes. - Began designing linear sliding wall mechanism for injection molding machine to induce molecular orientation on polymer surfaces.

Nuro is still in "semi-stealth" modes so I can't divulge specifics of my work with them, but I architected and designed an mobile application and backend related to autonomous vehicles.

I architected and developed their beta Android app that autonomously controls your drone and captures photos.

Fuze's Zubi Flyer is an Arduino Based hackable toy for children (and adults) interested in learning how to program.
I developed the Hackable games that come on the Zubi Flyer and wrote the "kid friendly" setup instructions so users can go straight to modifying the board's source code.
I also developed a ScratchX Extension and Arduino based firmware that lets you use Scratch 2.0 to control the Zubi Flyer board.

Hawkin Tablet app uses a Wifi-Direct connection to stream data from force plates and runs local calculations to quantify an athlete's biomechanical performance.
I architected and developed the tablet app and backend for Hawkin Dynamics.
