I have taught myself Ruby on Rails to allow myself to transfer from QA into development. I have risen from a junior developer, to team lead, and then finally to architect. In my architect role I help out in code design in order to improve code maintainability. Additionally, I am managing the DevOps team and am responsible for the uptime of 30 servers and 3 production web sites.
