Jimmy C.

My name is Jimmy. I am a full-stack developer. I have about 10 years experience in development.
On the backend I work with ruby on rails development. From a scale of 1 to 5, I would say I have a 4 on my ruby/rails proficiency.

I have developed using ruby for numerous clients, from building a e-commerce store for a baking school from scratch; to a real estate listing website linking with Google Map API; to developing Youtube module retrieving video captions for a European startup company that provide translation service. On client side, I am fairly competent on javascript / coffeescript, slim/html, and css/sass.

I am also good at wireframing and coming up on overall UX, then I work with a designer on the detail UI, layout and animation. I also perform overall project management. Previously I have been leading a development team of 5 people, and communcating with the management.

I have a bachelor in Computer Engineering, and master in Financial Engineering, both from University of Michigan.
