I head up the image analysis activities for the Wellcome Trust Biomedical  Informatics Hub. Since 2017, I have also been the Hub's Workshop Director, responsible for the training provided for all members of the  University on a wide range of biological and medically relevant topics.

I have worked in the Physical and Biological sciences at doctoral and post-doctoral level for over 12 years using a range of programming languages for data analysis and numerical simulations.

I have worked on image processing in a biophysics research group setting, as well as having spent 7 years as the image processing specialist for a whole academic department at a world-class university in the UK.  I have also been contracted to work on various freelance image analysis projects since 2015.
