Hello, mine name is James.
I have over 4 years of experience in data engineering, software development and data science.

The main industries I have worked in is:

1. Food retail - Seeking ways to derive value out of the very large data sets captured through health usage and monitoring sensor systems deployed across the world. I have worked with clients like Walmart, Aldi, Tesco, Shell Energy. I had to learn multiple skills in order to do this job well; back-end development, data engineering, data analysis, reporting. Learning these difference areas is how I have achieved to learn a range of different skills; Python, NodeJS, PLSQL, Dev-Ops.
2. Consulting - Currently working as a Data Science Consultant. Working on projects that entails working on large Python repositories that uses all the standard code practices; package manager, doc testing, code linters, object orientated programming and far more

At my current place of work I run Python sessions to help improve other staff with their Python knowledge. I have realised I enjoyed doing this and want to expand my teaching further.
