Software Engineer

I started out web programming with Django over 2 years ago and it has remained my primary web development framework since that time. I have built a number of interesting projects using the Django framework. Some of the very recent ones include a media content distribution platform, a signature authentication system and a networking/resource sharing e-commerce system for shippers.

I use Javascript to give additional functionalities to the client-side of most applications I have built. These include front end checks, enhanced user experience, interface design and aesthetics, asynchronous server calls (AJAX). I have used this tool for about a year and still exploring more usefulness.

I started building static websites with HTML and CSS about 6 years ago, first as a hobbyist back in college and then as a professional web developer. I have transitioned from using notepad to Adobe Dreamweaver then to front end frameworks like Bootstrap.

I use Git extensively for code storage and version control and I have been using it for about one year, on Github and Bitbucket
