From the very first day, when heroku appeared, it was the simpliest way to handle deployment. And believe me, 10 years ago it was a nightmare to that manually. Nowadays, Docker allows problem-free deployment to any cloud, but in case you want to boost you deployment and not to spend half of development budget to maintain DevOpses, heroku is still the answer.
