I work professionally using Ruby, building a Rails 4 application. I've primarily focused on back end development within Rails. I use Ruby for my day to day activities such as automation scripts, debugging servers, etc.

Light usage of HTML/CSS when necessary for most tasks. Experience with Bootstrap and other template libraries.

I've used git and source control professionally for almost 3 years, and in school for around 2 years. In my job we use git extensively, utilizing: branching, versions, github pull requests, and other features to make collaboration efficient.

I've designed and maintained high scale, SQL backed applications. I'm familiar with designing new schemas, migrating existing schemas, identifying performance improvements or bottlenecks, and identifying pain points.
