I have used, taught and written about Java since its inception in 1995. I wrote a tutorial in 1996 which later became a textbook used in courses by 3 companies in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. I was a Java instructor at Sun Microsystems (since 1997), I have several Java-related certifications and have spoken about Java at many events including JavaONE. I am currently reading several specs and making simple programs as part of my research on Java 12, since I intend to write a book on that subject.

I have used Java EE technologies since its inception and written text-books and articles about its many technologies. I deveolped my masters degree research about distributed performance in Java using early CORBA and RMI-IIOP implementations. I taught instructor-led courses in J2EE and Java EE 5 at Sun Microsystems and several other companies, and wrote texts, articles and presentations about EJB, JPA, Servlets, JSP. JSF, RMI, CORBA, JavaMail, JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JMS, CDI, JNDI, JCA, JMX, JAAS, JAAC, JASPIC, and other Java EE technologies.

It's my favorite XML parsing language. I love to solve XSLT puzzles.

I have used XML and related technologies since its inception and developed many projects using XPath, XSLT. I have also written tutorials and textbooks on XML, XSLT, XPath, SVG and XML Schema, which I used to teach XML related technologies in Brazilian companies.

Great to find and extract things from the deep web, writing screen scrapers and XSL transformation. I also love to solve XPath challenges.

I use SVG since 2009. In 2010 I wrote a tutorial and textbook used in training about SVG. Recently I have spoken about SVG in conferences (such as the Brazilian W3 conference in 2015) and teaching it in companies (mostly as part of a D3 course). I also wrote a book on D3.js which was published by Packt in 2019.

I have written books about JavaScript and libraries (1998/2000 and 2019). I teach several JavaScript-based courses and have used it in many projects (ES2015, React, Vue, D3.js and Chart.js).

I have used and taught HTML since the early days. I wrote a guide on how to write Web Sites back in 1995, and a book on HTML and CSS in 1996, and many other textbooks on HTML, CSS and related technologies for training companies.

I am the author of "Learn D3.js", a 650-page book that covers D3.js version 5, published in 2019 by Packt, 2019. I have been working with D3.js since version 3, and I teach it as part of courses and tutorials on data visualization, SVG and JavaScript.

I've been using CSS since the last century.
