I'm a guy who makes things happen. I've been writing software as a hobby for over 15 years and as a professional software developer for the past 4. In addition, I've been teaching programming in the university for CS majors, in Rails Girls workshops for women, in high schools for kids and in couple of workshops and 3 months long programs for non-technical entrepreneurs.

I'm especially good at teaching complex programming concepts to beginners and I'd love to help you become a better programmer.

Programming is so much more than just learning the syntax of a language: it's a mindset for solving problems, it's architecture for code, it's about learning the idiomatic ways of using the language - I'm comfortable in mentoring you from the first stage all the way to mastery in a long-term mentorship relationship.

I'm located in Finland (GMT+2) and speak fluent English and Finnish.
