I lead the technology and help the company stabilize and scale our product for more than 100 schools. We are making sure we connect teachers and students in the remotest areas of India during this pandemic.

Product Engineer

I helped Procol in stabilising the product so that we could raise our first round of funding of $1M

Worked on the project Adobe Campaign as a frontend developer. I was held responsible for theproduction build server for user interface. 
Worked on optimising performance of react based dashboard, made service to produce weeklyreports for multiple platforms and standardising Adobe XDM (Experience Data Model) for AdobeCampaign to standardise data flow. 
Part of Adobe Escape team, which organised cultural events for employees. Voluntarily madedashboard to track progress for various competitions.

Software Development Engineeer

Worked on Zomato’s UI Kit and Payments UI kit written in React-Redux and TypeScript. Took care of its development using Docker and gulp tasks for transpiling the app.
Developed Zomato’s Alexa skill app running on Node server. It became the most requested skill on Alexa within the first week of its launch.
Worked on project PWA, Structured the API output in an optimized data structure to reduce the data flow. Increasing 20% of user traffic.
Part of AMP project, which aimed to reduce page load time for slower connections using Google’s AMP project. This reduced page load time from 3s to 1s.
Worked on preventing SQL injections and other vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF token invalidation etc across Zomato, optimizations, lazy loading images across the site, improving SQL queries with use of indexes.

Used Qt and Cantorlibs to build scripting capability inside LabPlot. CantorLibs was used to execute input by user and get the output.
Wrote parser for Python2, Python3, maxima and R in C++, which parse them to Columns of LabPlot.
Parser supported basic data structure like dictionary, arrays, lists etc which were translated into columns for LabPlot allowing dynamic plotting of graphs.

Google Summer of Code Student 2015

At Zomato, Adobe and Procol I have worked on React, Vanila JS and Jquery. I use webpack bundler to bundle my JS code. I am familiar with both client side and server side js. I have worked on nodeJS and deployed production apps using nodejs. I am familiar with both ECMA6 and ECMA5 codebase. I have used babel loader to compile ECMA6JS to ECMA5 code. I have also written an online emulator for a microprocessor in JS.
I am familiar with handling of SEO friendly urls with React, using both front-end and back-end routing. I am familiar with serverside rendering with nodejs.

At Zomato I have learnt the importance of a good design. I am famial with how HTML DOM Rendering works and how CSSOM Redering happens. I am also familiar with the costs of repaint whenever we change the elements of HTML dynamically. I am also familiar with the Event bubbling in HTML.

I am working as a web developer with Zomato (www.zomato.com). We extensively use PHP in our codebase. Hence I have a good experience with PHP. I extensively use Redis and Memcache for both quing and caching purpose to optimize our website's performance. We also use Composer to manage our dependencies. Moreover I am also familiar with a custom autoload module for PHP classes. At zomato, we save data in MySQL database server. To serve the response as soon as possible I have been familiar with writing optimised queries for mysql.
I have also contributed to typo3-neos CMS which is based on the tyo3-flow framework. I have also delivered various projects based on laravel. I have also written my own small MVC based framework and used various other frameworks which give me in depth knowledge of these frameworks

I try to automate many things using bash scripts. I do write small scripts like making screen brightness to zero after 20 minutes in order to give my eyes some relax. These scripts are always a handy tool to make few things automated.
