Been using javascript for awhile. Heavily since I started Node.js/Meteor development 3 years ago. Use it everyday at work as my main application programming language. 

Can help create layouts, animations, figure out how to achieve UI/UX with html/css, etc. 

Worked at a startup which had a custom Node.js stack built with backbone, mongoDB, express, etc. Also use Node.js as part of Meteor applications that I make. 

Can type Coffeescript with no problem. Use coffeescript daily. 

I have been using MongoDB with Meteor and other Node.js stacks for sometime. I am good with mongoDB queries and can help construct complex queries. I have also setup oplog tailing in production with MongoDB on Compose.io

I have been an early adopter and user of the Meteor framework. I currently use Meteor daily in my full-time work and have created MVP for clients using Meteor. I also run my own SaaS with Meteor at https://www.memrey.com It is a collaborative note taking research application. I love using Meteor and have a good amount of experience in this domain. I also have a lot of experience working with Node.js and other web technologies which help making Meteor apps. I enjoy helping and teaching others about Meteor so this is the main reason I want to become a code mentor. I also host the Meteor meetup in Ann Arbor. 

I use Iron Router in all my Meteor apps. Have experience using Iron Router to build various SaaS application. Can handle user accounts and router filters etc. 

I have experience deploying Meteor apps into production on digital ocean, linode, compose.io. I've used both MUP and MUPX. I have experience adding SSL, and setting up multiple deployment targets like staging and production. 

I can help upload files and images to S3 Buckets. Can help set permission and get working with Meteor slingshot.

The product I have built uses Quill at the heart of it's editing experience. Quill is the most powerful text editor and I am so thankful it is open source 

Memrey uses ShareDB to power its collaborations features. ShareDB uses operational transform technology to make collaborative data is coordinates and merges together successfully.
