Brief Background:
I am a Senior Researcher at the Department of Information Technology, the University of Turku, Finland. My current research focuses is on Object Detection, Tracking and
Classification in Maritime Environments. Moreover, I worked in Quva Oy as a Data Scientist, researcher. From 2011-2016,  I was a  researcher and PhD candidate at the Department of Information Technology, the University of Turku.  I was working as a full-time lecturer at Tiran and Kirvan University  of Applied Science and Technology  Azad University Dolatabad branch from 2009 -2011.  I was in charge of machine learning laboratory in the university and supervised 15 students’ thesis. I received my Master degree from the School of Computer Engineering, the University of Science and Technology, Tehran,, in 2009.   I am a member of IEEE and I am a frequent reviewer for scientific journals and high quality conferences.

Abstract— Robust real-time object detection, tracking and classification are challenging problems in autonomous transportation systems due to operation of algorithms in inherently uncertain and dynamic environments and rapid movement of objects. Therefore, tracking and detection algorithms must cooperate with each other to achieve smooth tracking of detected objects that later can be used by the navigation system. In this project, we present an efficient multi-sensor fusion framework in order to achieve accurate object detection, tracking and classification results.
