I was the founder of a web development contracting firm that built startups and other web apps in Ruby on Rails (and later, AngularJS). I've led teams of Ruby / Rails developers for 9 years on over a dozen projects.

I know every aspect of the Rails stack from routing through deployment.  I'm also passionate about TDD/BDD, and know testing in Ruby backwards and forwards.  

In the last few years of its operation, my contracting company built most of our websites with a Rails back-end and an Angular 1.X front-end. I was the team leader and software architect on three such startup projects.

I've been a web developer for over 20 years, and have used JavaScript one way or another in every project I've done.

I'm relatively new to Elixir, but am deeply passionate about it: the first language I've truly loved since Ruby.  I'm currently developing a multiplayer video game server in it as my side project, with an emphasis of robustness and OTP architecture.
