I have always loved teaching and helping others grow in technology. This is partially why I love being a consultant, because I get to help my clients learn and grow throughout my projects with them. I had several amazing teachers and mentors growing up and in my early career (I still do!) that have made an enormous impact on my career, and I strive to do the same for others. As a Codementor I strive to help people learn, but also help them grow soft skills and enjoy learning as well. My goal is not just to teach syntax and how to make a dashboard chart, but also what types of visualizations are effective, how to effectively utilize the internet, how new advances in GenAI can help (and hinder...), how to make code understandable, whether ML is really the best solution for a problem, etc.
